Special Castable Systems
Special refractory castables are unshaped refractory materials designed for specific lining areas, installation requirements or failure conditions. Compared with general-purpose castables, special castables focus on targeted performance under demanding service conditions, such as corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, thermal shock resistance, structural reinforcement or long-term stability in specific equipment areas.
These castables are typically selected according to temperature fluctuation, material erosion, atmosphere attack, mechanical wear and thermal cycling in the service area. By adjusting aggregates, fine powders, binders and additives, the material can be better matched to pulverized coal injection pipes, kiln outlets, high-erosion zones and other demanding lining sections.
This series includes chrome-corundum or chrome-corundum-mullite castables, steel fiber reinforced castables, castables for pulverized coal injection pipes and castables for kiln outlets.
