Refractory Castables
Monolithic refractory materials for high-temperature furnace linings, complex structural areas and local repair sections.
Refractory Castable Systems
Refractory castables are monolithic refractory materials that can be installed by on-site casting. They are used for high-temperature furnace linings, complex structural areas and local repair sections. Compared with shaped refractory bricks, castables form a continuous lining structure, helping reduce joint-related corrosion, spalling and weak points while offering greater installation flexibility.
Refractory castables are typically made from refractory aggregates, fine powders, binders and additives. After mixing with water on site, they can be installed by casting, vibration or similar methods. After curing and drying, the material forms an integral lining with good strength, refractoriness and volume stability.
Based on different raw materials and bonding systems, refractory castables can be classified into corundum castables, corundum-mullite castables and high-alumina low-cement castables. Each type provides different advantages in refractoriness, strength, thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance and installation performance.

Key Features
Flexible Installation and Integral Lining Performance
Castable systems support new furnace construction, complex lining geometry and localized maintenance while reducing the number of joints in the completed lining.
