Ceramic Fiber Products

Lightweight insulating refractory materials for furnace backup lining, thermal insulation, and energy-saving systems.

Overview

Ceramic fiber products are lightweight insulating refractory materials made mainly from refractory fibers. They are characterized by low weight, low thermal conductivity, good insulation performance and convenient installation. Compared with dense refractory materials, ceramic fiber products focus more on insulation, heat preservation, energy saving and reducing furnace heat storage.

Ceramic fiber products are commonly used as insulation layers, backup linings, refractory lining insulation layers or removable insulation structures for high-temperature equipment. Because of their porous fiber structure and low heat capacity, they are suitable for conditions where heat loss reduction, shorter heat-up time or lower furnace weight is required.

According to product form and usage requirements, ceramic fiber products can include ceramic fiber boards and ceramic fiber blankets. Different products vary in strength, flexibility, installation adaptability and insulation performance, allowing selection according to furnace structure and insulation layer design.

Compatible Refractory Material Systems

Ceramic fiber products are commonly used together with dense refractory bricks, castables and lightweight insulation materials to build layered furnace lining systems with improved thermal efficiency.

Dense Refractory Brick Linings

Used as backup insulation or thermal barrier support behind dense working linings in furnaces, kilns and other high-temperature equipment.

Refractory Castable Linings

Applied with castable working layers or backup castable structures where low heat storage and better insulation are required.

Lightweight Insulating Brick Systems

Combined with insulating bricks to form multi-layer insulation designs for lower shell temperature and reduced heat loss.

Industrial Furnace Insulation

Suitable for furnace bodies, pipe wrapping, removable insulation structures and complex equipment surfaces that need flexible insulation solutions.
