From Materials to Integrated Solutions | JHYRef at an International Refractories Conference

From April 10 to 12, 2026, the International Conference on Sustainable Development and Intelligent Integration of Refractories was successfully held at the Qingshan Campus of Wuhan University of Science and Technology. Jointly organized by the Hubei Association for Science and Technology and Wuhan University of Science and Technology, the conference brought together experts and industry representatives from around the world to exchange insights on the green and intelligent development of the refractory industry.

During the conference, several key developments in the digitalization and intelligent advancement of the refractory industry were announced, including the launch of the industry’s first vertical large model, “Zhurong · Refractory Intelligence,” the establishment of a digital and intelligent refractory engineering center, and the initiation of related R&D programs. Experts and industry representatives from multiple countries and international organizations participated in the exchange, highlighting the industry’s accelerating shift toward data-driven and technology-integrated development.

At the Refractory Innovation Alliance Council Meeting held during the same period, JHYRef (Zhengzhou Jinheyuan Refractories Co., Ltd.) became a member of the Alliance’s governing council. This milestone reflects the company’s recognized technical strength and comprehensive capabilities, and marks a new step in its continued development.

The seven newly admitted council members span key sectors including steelmaking, engineering and construction, environmental technology, and refractory manufacturing, further strengthening the industry’s collaborative ecosystem. As one of the members, JHYRef will actively participate in the Alliance’s initiatives in R&D, standards development, and industry collaboration, contributing to resource integration and innovation across the sector.

During the technical session of the conference, Dr. Zeng, representing JHYRef’s technical team, delivered a presentation titled “Study on the Corrosion Behavior of Novel Refractory Bricks for Zinc-Bearing Solid Waste Rotary Kilns.” The presentation, based on actual operating conditions, analyzed the corrosion mechanisms of refractory materials and explored potential optimization approaches.

The refractory industry is currently undergoing a rapid transition toward greener and more intelligent development, evolving from traditional material supply to solution-oriented approaches based on operating conditions. Digitalization and structural optimization are becoming key technical directions.

In this context, JHYRef will continue to strengthen its capabilities in technological innovation and product development, while actively embracing digital and AI-driven technologies to enhance its core competitiveness.

Looking ahead, the company will leverage the Refractory Innovation Alliance platform to deepen collaboration with universities, research institutions, and leading industry partners. JHYRef remains committed to advancing the industry toward greener, smarter, and more globally integrated development, while delivering reliable and efficient refractory solutions for high-temperature industries worldwide.
