    Description

High alumina brick is a type of refractory brick made from bauxite and other high-alumina raw materials. JHYRef high alumina bricks are available in different Al2O3 content grades, ranging from ≥48% to ≥80%, to meet different furnace lining requirements.

Compared with ordinary clay bricks, high alumina bricks provide higher refractoriness, better mechanical strength and improved resistance to wear and corrosion. They are widely used in high-temperature industrial furnaces where the lining must withstand heat, load, chemical attack and thermal fluctuation.

JHYRef supplies both normal high alumina bricks and low-creep high alumina bricks. The proper grade should be selected according to the furnace type, lining position, operating temperature, slag contact, mechanical load and service condition.

    Product Types

    Normal High Alumina Brick

Normal high alumina bricks are made from bauxite or other high-alumina raw materials through forming and high-temperature firing. They are suitable for general high-temperature furnace lining areas that require refractoriness, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and thermal stability.

The available grades include LZ-48, LZ-55, LZ-65, LZ-70, LZ-75 and LZ-80. These grades provide different Al2O3 content levels and physical properties, allowing users to choose suitable products according to actual furnace working conditions.

    Low-Creep High Alumina Brick

Low-creep high alumina bricks are made mainly from superior-grade bauxite, fused corundum and fused mullite. They are designed for furnace areas where long-term high-temperature load and dimensional stability are important.

The available low-creep grades include DRL-155, DRL-150, DRL-145, DRL-140, DRL-135, DRL-130 and DRL-127. These products are suitable for medium and large hot blast stoves and other high-temperature lining areas where low creep performance is required.

    Advantages

    • Superior Wear Resistance: Maintains structural integrity under continuous mechanical stress, extending equipment service life and reducing maintenance frequency.
    • Excellent Corrosion Resistance: Withstands acidic and alkaline environments, suitable for various harsh industrial conditions.
    • Anti-Spalling Properties: Prevents surface deterioration in thermal cycling conditions, ensuring long-term stability of furnace linings.
    • Low Creep Rate: Minimal deformation under high-temperature load, maintaining dimensional stability.
    • Outstanding Thermal Shock Stability: Resists cracking from rapid temperature changes, adapting to frequent heating and cooling cycles.
    • Extended Service Life: Lasts 1.5 times longer than conventional refractory bricks, significantly reducing replacement costs and downtime.
