Mexican glass manufacturer Vitro has inaugurated furnace No. 4 at its Toluca plant. The furnace has a daily production capacity of 230 tons and represents an investment of US$70 million. The investment will increase Vitro’s ability to serve its spirits and cosmetics customers in local and international markets. The furnace is designed with technologies that increase production efficiency and environmental benefits.

This milestone will make Vitro’s Toluca plant one of the largest in the world. The plant combines glass container production capabilities for cosmetics, spirits and other specialty products, and will provide container production and finishing processes.
